Winter Wonders Week
Winter Wonders Week is Beaver Lake Nature Center's answer to cabin fever during the school Winter Break week. Visitors will have the opportunity to get out and enjoy winter by participating in Ice Cutting or Walking in Search of Wildlife Signs (weather permitting). Folks will be able to warm up in the Visitor Center and learn about the Featured Creature. In addition, trails will be open for skiing. All scheduled activities are free with park admission.
10:00 am - Try Snowshoeing - Monday & Wednesday
10:00 am - Ice Harvest - Tuesday & Thursday
10:00am - Build Snow Animals - Friday (conditions permitting)
Monday - Friday
1:30 pm - Creature Feature
2:00 pm - Snowshoeing (Snowshoe Rental $3) If not enough snow, walking will take the place of snowshoeing.
